Shaan Shahid remained absent from the cinema for the whole year in 2015 but this state will not continue any longer in 2016 as Yalghaar is nearing its completion stage and the long awaited directorial comeback of Shaan Arth 2 has just hit the floor.
Arth 2 is the remake of Mahesh Bhutt’s hit film of 1982 Arth. Shaan, being writer and director of the remake, is giving it a contemporary Pakistani makeover, keeping the same characters as the original film and having a different plot.
As the BTS pics from the sets of Arth 2 emerged, we learned about a small change in the lead cast of the film which included Shaan Shahid, Humaima Malik, Humayun Saeed and Uzma Hassan originally. The only change we saw in the final cast of the film is Humayun Saeed replaced with Mohib Mirza.

Arth 2 is the joint venture of HKC Entertainment, AAA Motion Pictures and 5th Element (Shaan’s production house). HKC Entertainment released Humaima Malik starer Dekh Magar Pyaar Say earlier this year.
The shooting of the film started on the occasion of 25th anniversary of Shaan Shahid in cinema earlier this month. Currently the first spell of the film is progressing in full swing in Lahore and the whole lead cast is taking part in it.
Mohib Mirza will appear in Bachaana opposite Sanam Saeed next year as well. The teaser poster of the film was released this week and more updates, as per our sources, will be revealed very soon.
Bol girl Humaima Malik was last seen in Asad ul Haq’s rom-com Dekh Magar Pyaar Say. Arth 2 is one of the actor’s multiple film projects in the pipeline, as revealed by Humaima Malik recently.

We hope that the fans of Shaan Shahid will be eager to see him in romance/drama films as well along with action thrillers like, Yalghaar and Waar 2.
Shan was not much in 2015 what a relief!he is a tired leftover from old Lollywood which was infested with seedy characters & suspicious mafia connections making vular films & Shaan was involved with spreading this culture of low talent & leading the flim industry into the grave. He needs to step away the prima donna that he is I worked with this horrible man who thinks he is Gods’s gift to women & the industry he needs tio write how he contributed ZERO to the emerging Pakistan revival but slowly fused himself like he was a great contributor which he is not!
