Sabiha Sumar’s fashion-drama feature film, Good Morning Karachi, previously titled Rafina, with Amna Ilyas in the lead role releases countrywide tomorrow (1st January 2015).

The first Pakistani film to release in the new year, ‘Good Morning Karachi’ is the second film to be made under the direction of the award-winning director Sabiha Sumar. Khamosh Pani, Sabiha’s first film; which released in 2003, bagged numerous accolades in film festivals internationally and locally.

Good Morning Karachi follows the story of an ambitious girl, Rafina (Amna Ilyas), and her ascend in the cut-throat world of fashion from a very humble background to the billboard reign. Her rise brings its own challenges and how she conducts herself in those challenges will be what the film unfolds.

The film, beside Amna Ilyas, stars Saba Hameed, Amna Sheikh, Farhan Ali Agha, Savera Nadeem, Khalid Malik and Yasir Aqueel among many others.

Good Morning Karachi will be Sabiha Sumar’s film directorial comeback after about eleven years.

All the best to the team Good Morning Karachi.
