2015’s first major Pakistani release “Jalaibee” was released all over Pakistan as well as in leading International Markets on Friday. While the critics all over Pakistan have had diverse opinions on the film, the audience seems to be enjoying this “Jalaibee” which is clearly visible by the numbers it has registered at the box office.On the first day itself it recorded big numbers despite the fact that the film had to face tough opposition from the World Cup Match. Furthermore, although there was no huge growth for the film over the next two days but maintaining the numbers, rather adding to them, is surely a feat (case in point 021) and hence is something worth celebrating.
The first day figures as reported by ARY Films, who are the distributors of Jalaibee, are 1 crore(which is a record as this is the highest opening ever for a Pakistani film on a non holiday release) . As for the second and third day the numbers are 1.11cr and 1.15cr ( recorded by independent site boxofficedetail). Adding .10 crore from the Thursday previews takes the four day extended weekend to 3.36 crore.
Thursday: 0.10 crore
Friday: 1 crore
Saturday: 1.11cr
Sunday: 1.15cr
Total: 3.36cr
