Yes he is back.
Everyone’s favorite chocolate hero Moammar Rana, who was missing from the film scene for quite some time now, is finally coming back to silver screen. The dishy lad who was last seen in Syed Noor’s Jugni had taken a sabbatical from films but is finally coming back to his original love i.e cinema . Moreover what makes this news even more exciting is the fact that this film will mark the directorial debut of Moamar who will also be directing the film. All these revelations were recently made at the launch event of the film which was held in Karachi where Moammar also unveiled the first poster of the film.
Made under the banner of his home production, “The Monarch Films”, Sikander is a commercial movie which will have all the elements that are required for a commercial potboiler. According to Moammar this film is his his dream project and is a gift for his dedicated fans who have given him their unconditional love and sincere wishes. The film according to the makers is complete roller-coaster ride filled with revenge, drama, deception, romance and emotions and will have the cinegoers hooked to their seats. Moreover the film will be backed up by a powerful soundtrack as for music the film has Sahir Ali Bagga on board.
Coming back to the event. Well the event started with Moammar Rana’s firey entry on an Intruder which gave the event a very filmy feel. Moreover the presence of all the celebrities in the audience further added to the glamour quotient of the event. The event was attended by celebs like Ayehsa Omar, Angeline Malick, Sajid Hussain, Nadeem Baig among many others. Moreover one of the leading lady from the film Haya Sehgal was also spotted at the event as was Moammar Ranas gorgeous wife and beautiful daughters.
As for the rest of the cast and the other leading ladies, well that will soon be announced. Moreover Moammar added that he believes in entertainment and just entertainment and reiterated the fact that his film will be a complete entertainer and will appeal to the audiences. Moammar concluded by saying that he does not believe that Lollywood needs any image building because its his own film from 1998 “Chooriyan” which was the highest grosser in the history of Pakistani cinema until recently.
