It seems that having two huge press events in Pakistan ( Read about them HERE and HERE) was just the beginning for the “Bin Roye” team as they flew to Dubai to have a third event where they launched the music of the film. This grand event took place in the luxurious VOX cinemas and served as the official unveiling of the music from the film. Not only was the audio unveiled but two eagerly awaited videos were released too ( Read about them HERE) which created quite the stir on social media. The event saw the leading trio Humayun Saeed ,Mahira Khan ,Armeena Rana along with the director of the film Momina Duraid and the CEO of HUM Network Duraid Qureshi talking about the film and specifically the music.
It is already known that the film boasts of an amazing lineup of singers which includes names like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Shiraz Uppal, Ankit Tiwari, Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Waqar Ali and others. However the team finally made public the details about the six songs and here is the information.
1.“Ballay Ballay” is penned by Shakeel Sohail, composed and sung by Shiraz Uppal along with the famous Indian playback singer Harshdeep Kaur.
2.“Teray Bina Jeena” is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, penned by Sabir Zafar and sung by Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with Saleema Jawwad.
3.The third song of the movie “Chan Chariya” is recorded in the soothing voice of Indian playback singer Rekha Bhardwaj along with Momin Durrani; the song is penned by Sabir Zafar and composed by Shani Arshad.
4.The queen of Sufi Music, Abida Parveen, and Zeb Bangash have given voice to the Sufi track “Maula Maula”, composed by Shani and penned by Sabir Zafar.
5.The Indian playback singer Ankit Tiwari of the “Tu Hai ke Nahe” fame has rendered his soulful voice to “O Yara”, composed by Waqar Ali and penned by Sabir Zafar.
6.The title track of the movie “Bin Roye”, composed and sung by Shiraz Uppal and penned by Shakeel Sohail promises to leave all those who hear it, in awe.
Moreover the CEO of HUM Network , Duraid Qureshi ,also announced a partnership with the VOX cinemas who will market and release the film in U.A.E which makes “Bin Roye” the first Pakistani Film to have a simultaneous release in Pakistan and the U.A.E . Speaking about this Toni El Massih, Director of Distribution and Film Content for VOX said ” In the last couple of years the quality of Pakistani films has improved significantly however, there have been gaps as far as the release strategy for the region is concerned. VOX Distribution will fill in these gaps. VOX will promote and market the films just like any other Hollywood or Bollywood films. To start with, this is the first time that a Pakistani film will release day and date with its release in Pakistan. Bin Roye will release on the first day of Eid-Ul-Fitr across the UAE, Oman and Bahrain. After the overwhelming response to the trailer and songs we have also decided to open the advance tickets sale for the movies weeks before its release. In the coming days, you will see a lot more exciting promotions and marketing activities leading to the release of the film.”
