The teaser of Yalghaar came out around two years back, and since then it has been one of the most anticipated films of Pakistan film industry. Eid after Eid, and date after date, we had just our good hopes, and a sole three and a half minute teaser for self consolation as the film got delayed on more than one occasions.

All the anticipation, however, comes to end now, as the Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed, Bilal Ashraf, Adnan Siddiqui, Ayesha Omar, Sana Bucha, and Alizey Nasir starrer, Yalghaar has finally been set for the date of Eid-ul-Fitr 2017.

The announcement came earlier today when Bilal Ashraf on his personal Facebook handle announced the date and then further clarified that the date was in fact for Yalghaar’s release. To further make sure that we are happy for the right reasons, we talked to Bilal personally and he confirmed the news.

Bilal Ashraf status Yalghaar

Confirming us the release, Bilal expressed his own feelings on the date finality and said, “I am super excited. It’s probably the most anticipated Pakistani movie ever. The wait was definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed.”

Further on, he said, “It’s is something you guys haven’t seen before, and you will know it for yourself as the trailer comes out soon.”

This sentiment is not Bilal’s alone, as we have been hearing similar things from other cast members of the film too. For instance, sharing Bilal’s sentiment, Humayun Saeed, while talking to us a few days back about the film said, “I’ve seen the first two minutes of the film and I just say it’s a cinematic treat! Something that is never seen before in Pakistan.”

As you can see for yourself in Bilal’s status above, he also clarifies that he is no more part of Urwa Hocane, Ali Azmat, and Babra Sharif starer upcoming film Jhol. So we naturally asked Bilal about that too, as till last we had heard of the film, he was very much part of it. Although refraining to comment on the reason for dropping Jhol, the actor did say this much about the film, “not doing it, wish them the very best.”

We wonder what became the reason for his leaving the project. Interestingly though, as per the latest updates, Jhol too is one of the films slotted for Eid-ul-Fitr release, (Mehrunnisa We Lub You, Geo Sir Utha Kay, and now Yalghaar will also be competing as per the latest reports with us).

Well, we wish all the films the very best of luck, and are super excited for the news of Yalghaar‘s soon-to-release theatrical trailer and the release date.
