In Focus: The style evolution of Sana Javed

The first time I watched Sana Javed on television was in the character of Lubna in Pyare Afzal. The immense popularity of the show brought her bubbly  character into the limelight as well, which would usually be seen in colorful Shalwar Kameez.

Eversince bagging her debut film alongside Danish Taimoor, Sana Javed has come a long way and seems to have left ‘Lubna’ behind. So lets not waste anymore time and check out how Sana is making or breaking the industry these days!

While I love this cool and casual look for film promotions at the mall, I absolutely despise brand logos being prominently displayed in your face. The color palette has been kept cool toned, and pairing with funky shoes makes it a winner from me. Although, I can not help but notice Sana wearing something on her leg, maybe an anklet? It just makes me wonder why?

Love, love, love this look! Stepping aside from the casual look, Sana shines in this mustard off shoulder ensemble by Ansab Jahangir! The sleek straight hair paired with ‘barely-there’ makeup hits all the right notes. But the thing that catches my eyes the most is the pairing of black jewellery and nail polish which totally compliments the look.

Either Sana or Sana’s stylist are a huge fan of off shoulders. The trendy, flared sleeves and knot trousers make Sana look fashion forward and edgy. This neutral, beige ensemble also works well against Sana’s skin tone. Adding a hint of color, the green choker looks perfect without overpowering the look.

Another off shoulder, which happens to be not a favorite of mine this time. Although I love the color and prints of this ensemble by Shehla Chatoor, the same sleek straight hair makes it quite a boring look. It seems like a drab of a pairing with the necklace blending in with the clothes and then those horrendous shoes welcome you. A fail from my side.

From off shoulder to sleeveless, this look falls flat (just like her hair and the fitting). The outfit gives run of the mill vibes, giving this look a thumbs down from me. Neither the cut, nor the color works in Sanas favor. I wish there was some experiment in the hair department, which would have made Sana look somewhat different from her previous looks.

I'm a graduate of Beaconhouse National University with a huge interest in fashion and makeup. I also love to write about anything and everything which is related to style. Love to travel and explore new places!
