‘Good Morning Karachi’ of Amna Ilyas releases tomorrow
The first Pakistani film to release in the new year, 'Good Morning Karachi' is the second film to be made under the direction of the award-winning director Sabiha Sumar. Khamosh Pani, Sabiha's first film; which released in 2003, bagged numerous accolades in film festivals internationally and locally.
Good Morning Karachi of Amna Ilyas to release in January 2015
Amna Ilyas, as Rafina in the film, portrays a girl from the lower middle class of Karachi, who aspires to be seen on billboards and walking on ramps and how she ascends on the social ladder in a world that has a proven tendency to be both jealous and cruel. There are people with varying visions, people with varying desires and those who simply wish to live a better life.
