Shaan Shahid (Actor/Director), almost 2 years back announced a movie called ‘Cup’ which was supposed to be released last year or maybe this year, is not even started yet.
Shaan himself is directing and producing the movie and he also signed famous TV actress/Model “Juggan Kazim” as his co-star for the film.
But the news is, that the movie which is on the release list from 2 years has not even been started and actor/director Shaan is still busy in its pre – production work.
Previously in an interview to an Online News website, Shaan blamed the multinational company ‘Lux’ for movie’s delay and said “It got delayed because of Lux. They were supposed to sponsor it. But it got changed”. And now he himself is financing the movie as there are no sponsors for it.
In a very latest interview to “Instep Today”, Shaan said he is planning to start the shooting work of the movie in December this year, as he loves shooting in winter season, “I was waiting for the winter season to show up, because I love shooting at that time of the year”.
He also said that he plans to release the movie in the starting months (January – May) of next year, and then after the break of almost 2 to 3 months he will again start working on his other projects (Other 2 movies by Shaan).
Commenting about his movie “Chup” he said Juggan Kazim (Famous actress and Model) is going to be in the film with him, while music of the movie is done by talented duo “Zeb and Hanya”, also today’s Bolly & Lollywood’s one of the top music sensation “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan” would also be there in music department of the movie. And Omran Shafique of “Mauj Band” has arranged the music & Background Score.
Now with the Back step of shaan’s “Chup” there are only 8 movies left in the upcoming Urdu Movies’ list, from which only 4 (Bol, Love Mein Gum, Bhai Log & Son of Pakistan) are confirmed to be released in 2010 while other 4 are just on the expected list and can be delayed anytime.
