Saltanat is an upcoming Urdu movie by director “Syed Faisal Bukhari”, who has recently directed a movie called “Bhai Log”, which is in pipeline to be released soon.
Movie story is based on the underworld life, it’s important to mention here that his recently completed movie “Bhai Log” is also based on the same topic, “underworld life and its consequences”. It seems like Syed Faisal Bukhari is in love with these kind of topics , or maybe he is trying to show something really important to the audience about this.
There were some news roaming on internet, that movie will be the sequel of “Bhai Log”, but no official wordings from the director of the movie is present here to back this news. However, actor Mona Liza, who is playing a character in the film said, the story of the movie is inspired by a true life story. Now it would be much more interesting to see how Bukhari presents a true story in shape of a film.
Bukhari’s, last completed movie (Bhai Log) was full of big Film Stars of Pakistan, such as, Moammar Rana, Javed Sheikh, Nadeem Baig, Babar Ali, Shamoon Abbasi (Debut), Noor, Meera, Saima and many others. But in this movie Bukhari thought to do something out of the box and casted five TV Actors besides rest of the cast, all five of them are on their film debuts as-well. Along with Pakistani Actors, Bukhari has also picked some actors from India, which overall makes it a mega-cast movie just like Bhai Log.
Cast of the film includes Ahsan Khan, Javeria Abbasi, Javed Sheikh, Sila Hussein, Kashif Mahmood, ZQ (Zainab Qayyum), Nayaar Aijaz, Shabbir Jan, Mustafa Qureshi, Mona Liza and many others from Pakistan.
From India Bukhari has picked , Deepak Shirke and famous Drama Serial (Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi)’s Akash Deep. Along with this, according to some reports, “Govind Namdeo and Chetan Hansraj” are also included in the cast.
Cast is a strong one and one can assume from the cast only that movie is going to be a rocking one.
talking about the movie music, Director Bukhari said; Chaku Lehri is arranging the movie music.
Movie shooting will be done on different location of Pakistan, Dubai and Malaysia.
Director Syed Faisal Bukhari in an interview said, he is not compromising on anything in the movie and will make it keeping in view the International Standards, which now makes one thing clear that just like “Shoaib Mansoor”, “Faisal Bukhari”, is also the man of quality and the way he is doing it all, at this low time of Pakistan Film Industry, is simply remarkable, people can really expect something big out of his both upcoming projects.
According to available information, movie is expected to be released at the end of 2010 or the starting months of next year.
Confirming about the release of his just completed project “Bhai Log”, he said he was previously planning to release it on Eid-ul-Adha but now he has decided to release it after Moharram.
