Though Veena Malik has been very successful so far in generating her fan following in India, but on this side of the border situation is very much different.
People here, are of two different views, the first view is that through her acts Veena Malik is not only damaging ‘her image’, but she is also damaging the image of her country too. On the other hand some people are bit positive as they are of the view that “It’s totally Veena’s Life and she can do whatever she wants to do, who are we to criticize her for these acts of her.
It all started with her entrance in Indian Reality show Big Boss 4, first she tried to defame Pakistani Cricketer Muhammad Asif, with whom she was in relationship some times ago, talking about him Veena said “I have been through hell; he used to beat me. I have scars all over my legs and body.” She also complained that Asif suffered from multiple personality disorder and had used her. He had her beaten up, threatened at gunpoint, locked up in his house and even slapped her in front of his friends.
Apart from that, thing because of which people are turning against Veena is her flirty acts and love games she is continuously playing with the male contestants of the show (mainly Ashmit Patel and Hrishant Gowswami). Although Hrishant Gowswami (Indian Model), is now out of the show but its Ashmit Patel who is still on the target of Veena.
Public hatred for Veena can now also be seen on Facebook, where more than a dozen hate groups/pages are present for Veena, some even containing ‘Page fans’ in thousands.

Now it’s still left to see whether it is only a game played by Veena to win the show or its actually reality. If this is all true, then it would not be easy for Veena to regain her popularity and good image soon, as it takes years to build image but seconds to destroy it.
