Khamoosh Raho………..

The first Urdu feature film of the year Khamosh Raho didn’t manage to create waves in the industry and due to its bad performance was soon removed from the cinemas. Whatsoever the movie is still  in news, not due to its bad performance at the box-office, but because of the ongoing fight between its producer Ghafoor Butt and actor Juggan Kazim. We were receiving similar reports during the production days of the film but now the matter has gone all public, all thanks to the media. Furthermore both the above mentioned players of this verbal fight are leaving no stones un-turned to take potshots and criticise each other.

Ghafoor Butt believes that the key reason for the films failure is the fact that Juggan had openly revealed her marital status as being divorced and having a five year old kid. Ghafoor Butt believes this is a major reason why the crowd, basically the male crowd refrained from seeing the film.

Ghafoor Butt also commented on Juggans working habbits and shared her attitude during the shooting of the film. He said that Juggan would come to shooting at 2pm and would leave at 6pm. He said that  she would also refuse to work to work on outdoor locations and hence created many problems. Ghafoor Butt also said that Juggan had requested him for more songs, whereas Juggan on the other hand says that it was the producer who wanted her to do more songs.

Ghafoor Butt did not just stop on this film as he even went ahead and criticized Juggans international project  “Pink Ludoos” and said the film was a mere collection of “french kisses”. Ghafoor Butt plans on making another film soon which will be directed by Shaan. Shaan wanted Juggan as the lead but after this fallout Ghafoor Butt swears to not take her in any more of his films. Ghafoor Butt also challenges that Juggan, after working with some other film unit, will herself declare that his film’s crew and unit was the best.

We have no idea who is right and who is wrong. All we can say to Juggan is that “Ab Pachtava Hoth Kya Jab Chirya Chukh Gain Kheth” meaning theres’s no point in blaming people for the film failure when nothing can be done. All you should do is make a note and learn from this film’s failure and try to do some quality work in the future.
