Well everyone’s favorite Meera has again made a little , or if going in the details a huge mistake. Recently on the show “Jago Pakistan Jago” when Meera was not even asked a question about it, decided to jump in and show her wisdom( rather lack of it), by pointing it out the way stars work worldwide.
She said that stars worldwide take certain amount of time off between their projects. Well that was right to some extent. Actually the stars don’t really take the time off. Unlike in Lollywood where mostly a film is made late due to financial matters and the gap occurs because, elsewhere this gap in between movies is due to high production values and promotion time. Anyways that was not the blunder.
Meera went on and said “Abhi jaisay Mission Impossible, jo James Bond ki film ayi hay chaar saal kay baad un ka product aya hay.”(Translation Recently released James Bond’s film Mission Impossible has been a product of the actor after four years).
This statement is wrong on so many levels.
1.First of all the film stars the world famous Tom Cruise, whose name practically everyone knows not James Bond.
2.Second James Bond is a character not an an actor.
3. Assuming Meera knew she was talking about Tom Cruise, the actor has had a major relase in 2010 “Knight and Day” and even in 2008 “Valkyrie” so the four year thing falls flat.
4.Maybe she was referring to the Mission Impossible series but still there has been a six year(almost) gap between the films.

Well anyways all we can say is Meera the next time you get all intellectual get your facts straight.
