Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol gave launch pad for many actors to get themselves established in the 72x53ft screen world. But Iman Ali was one of those cast members in the film who already had an established career and were known for their talent and stardom. Cashing the same stardom, Iman is spending a lot of time these days in India. Although talks with filmmakers and interviews to the local media there is occupying most of her time but there is something else that Indian media is alleging her to be attached with there.
It is said that Indian director Imtiaz Ali, who gave hits like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and more recently, Ranbeer Kapoor starring Rockstar, is in affair with Pakistani actress-model Iman Ali, who made a smashing entry to the film world by Pakistani film Khuda Kay Liye and recently starred in another Pakistani box-office hit feature film Bol.
Apparently; if reports are to be believed, Imtiaz has already divorced his wife Preety and has come close to the Pakistani actor-model Iman Ali, who according to a source of Times of India also visited Nizamuddin dargah in Delhi with Imtiaz Ali just a day before the release of Rockstar last year and also this year in April.
Quoting a source, Time of India states “Iman was introduced to the director by mutual friends in B-Town last year. Since then, they’ve become very close. In fact, just a day before the release of Rockstar, Imtiaz and Iman visited the Nizamuddin dargah in Delhi last year as well as in April this year.”
Furthermore, it is said that Imtiaz-Preety marriage was already going through some troubles and that both kept their divorce secret for a long time, fearing their eleven year-old daughter being affected from the decision.
Denying all the reports, Imtiaz’s father, Mansoor Ali, few days back said, “Imtiaz has gone to Belgium for a conference on international film promotion. He hasn’t told us anything about a rift with Preety. Yeh unke aapas ki baat ho toh pata nahi.Problems happen in all marriages and one should handle things in a dignified manner. Imtiaz and Preety are mature individuals. I am sure they will be able to handle the matter with grace. If any marriage is crumbling, there must be various reasons for it. Just the presence or absence of someone doesn’t break a marriage. As soon as Imtiaz returns from Belgium, we will ask him about the issue.”
Certainly, not happy with the affair news, Mansoor said, “It wouldn’t be fair to link Imtiaz with anyone. Everyone is aware of the image Imtiaz has. Saying that he is involved with another lady is undignified.”
