When the trailer of Operation 021 released, a few days back , everyone was excited! Why you ask? Well the trailer guaranteed that the film had all the ingredients which could make it a block buster. Great cast, good story, good production values and it was the complete package. But , ever since the release of this trailer the film has managed to attract quite a few controversies to itself !
The first big shock came at the ARY Film Awards when it was made public that Summer Nicks , who was earlier directing the film, is now no more associated with the film and that Jami is now going to take over. We tried to investigate this matter and talked to Summer Nicks who commented that all is well and that that things are going as planned and there is nothing out of the ordinary happening.
Well, we were trying to digest this news when we just found out that now Shamoon Abassi is going to be doing a cameo in the film and is no more playing the main antagonist! This news was broken by Shamoon Abassi himself on his facebook page.
Now we were wondering what went wrong and what could have been the reason for this sudden demotion. Was this the infamous case of the edit table? Were relationships going sour? What happened? We tried to contact Shamoon and he said that “Time will tell the entire story!” Well this only made us more curious. But all our questions were answered when Shaan and Shamoon had this little exchange of comments.

Then out came the claws!
And hence we got our answer and the real reason why Shamoon is just doing a “cameo” in the film. But we wonder if the relationship between Shamoon and Shaan is going sour what will happen to Shamoon’s directorial venture “Gidh” where Shaan was to play a major role! Looks like as Shamoon himself said only time will tell…
