Yes, you read that right!
If sources are to be believed, then Lollywood’s very own Shaan Shahid is all set to appear on the famous Indian show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” to promote his latest film “Operation 021.” Now if this does happen it will be one helluva episode and we at Galaxy Lollywood can’t wait to see this one!
Well we are sure that some of you might have a hard time believing this news and will have various questions in your mind so here let us try and answer them.
1.Why would Kapil Sharma invite someone Pakistani on his show?
Ans. Yes, the show is Indian but if memory serves us right than Kapil Sharma made quite the deal with a local Pakistani channel which now has the exclusive rights to the show for Pakistan. Hell, Kapil even shot a special promo for the Pakistani audiences, inviting them to see his show in Pakistan. Having a Pakistani guest on his show would only strengthen the Pakistani viewership.
2.Why would Shaan, who is so anti-India, go promote his film on an Indian show?
Ans. Firstly its not just any Indian show, its “Comedy Nights with Kapil” and that show is HUGE. I mean the show has been a game changer since the day it went on air and has been a ratings king. Everyone wants to go to this show and promote their respective films. Shaan may have vowed to never work in India but promoting his Pakistani product via India may seem reasonable no? Moreover this way the film gets to generate some buzz in India as well and thus the possibility of an India release for “Operation 021” could strengthen.
Also, the show airs twice every week and celebrities whose film is scheduled to release in the next week make an appearance on the show. But since there are not as many films as episodes for the show , so Kapil resorts to inviting sports people, politicians, etc and adding a Pakistani guest to that mix seems quite possible and also has a nice ring to it. All we have to do now is wait as time will tell the real story.
