Syed Noor is of course a big name in Pakistan film industry. Known as the ‘showman’ of Lollywood, he has been there, right as one of the pillars of the filmmaking business for quite a long time. Now he has ventured into a new avenue: Television Commercials (TVC’S). That’s been heard right, yes.
Syed Noor has directed a new television ad for Model Steel featuring model Abdullah and film star Saima. The ad has been shot in Lahore and was completed within a span of 3 days. Technically, the ad is quite good, cinematography and direction seem solid and keeping in mind the ‘target market’, the ad should go well with them.
In our neighboring country India too , it is a norm for biggies like Anurag Basu and Rohit Shetty to direct TVCs. The trend has now started in Pakistan as well, let’s see which other directors venture into this horizon.
