Imperial Cinemas open their gates and Lahore gets another luxurious multiplex.

It is a known fact that the growth of film business is directly proportional to the growth of the cinema business because more cinemas means more business for films, which encourages more films to be made and that attracts more investment in the cinema business.

The last few years in Pakistan have seen a boom in the cinema business and this can be largely attributed to the imports from Bollywood and Hollywood. These imports have led to more and more cinemas opening here in Pakistan as investors saw profit in the cinema business. Moreover the opening of these cinemas was a prominent reason why the revival of the Pakistani Film Industry has been going really well. The box-office for local films is a proof of how the opening of new local screens has been beneficial to the film industry.

And adding to this movement is Imperial Cinemas multiplex of Lahore which recently opened its doors for the public. Located in Paragon City Lahore, Imperial Cinemas is a two screen multiplex which is being run by Syed Rehmani. Although the cinema was opened up a few weeks back it was the grand launch event arranged by Bilal Mukhtar a few days back that officially kick started things at the cinema. Terminator Genisys was screened exclusively before its proper Eid release. Lots of socialites and media people were seen at this event which was done to perfection by Bilal Mukhtar.

Here are a few photos from the launch event.
