Yasir Hussain of Karachi Se Lahore fame to star in new movie ‘SentiAurMental’

Yasir Hussain was outright hilarious in his debut film Karachi Se Lahore (KSL), not just as the stammering and comically adorable Moti, but also as the film’s story writer. A hot commodity post-KSL; Yasir is now gearing up to make another comic appearance in upcoming film, SentiAurMental.

A quirky name, right? Well, the name of the production company making the film is equally quirky with its title, ‘Harkat Pictures.’ Looks like the comedy has a new home in town.

SentiAurMental has a script written by Yasra Rizvi who has 8 years of writing, direction, and acting experience in theatre, television and film. Rising to fame with her recently essayed role of Kulwant Kaur in the critically acclaimed film Manto, Yasra will also be directing and acting in the film.

Talking about the story of the film, director Yasra said, “The script of ‘Sentiaurmental’  is complete and it is an emotional roller-coaster knit with laughter, loss, and destiny.”

Apart from this Yasir and Yasra duo, the all famous Yusuf Bashir Qureshi will also be a part of the film. Not just through his design studio, which by the way is the official collaborator of the film, but Yusuf will also be seen acting in the film.

To be seen in an all together new look and character, Yasir Hussain while commenting on the film said, “I am really excited and all I can say at this point about the story is that I have never been offered a film like this and I can’t wait to get to the set of Sentiaurmental.”

Well, the project already seems dynamic enough with the three ever dynamic ‘Ys (Yasir, Yasra and Yusuf)’ as part of the project, and so we hope we get to see the final product of this exciting project on big screen soon. Best wishes to all involved.
