To say that Shaan Shahid’s next Zarrar, ‘is one of the eagerly awaited films,’ wouldn’t be an understatement. The spy thriller has been in the news for quite sometime, courtesy its genre, mega-budget, foreign crew, exotic shooting locations, and the fact that the superstar himself is writing and directing it. Moreover, Shaan’s claim that the action in the film is exactly what the Pakistani audience is ready to see, only adds to our excitement.

The first official look of the film was released in April 2017, after which there was no major announcement made regarding the film. However, fans of the star were in for a treat today, as a teaser trailer of the film made its way online.

An Act of Cyber Theft

The one-minute fifty-eight-second clip was uploaded on a social media page and from the looks of it, one could tell it was an unofficial upload. That, coupled with the silence of the official channels on the teaser made us only more suspicious.

So, we talked to Shaan Shahid, who confirmed that this was, in fact, a leaked unofficial upload which his team is making efforts to take down! We are not sure what prompted this act of cyber theft and illegal distribution, but we definitely condemn it and hope it gets taken down.

Starring Shaan Shahid, Kiran Malik, Nadeem Baig, Nayyar Ejaz, and Adnan Butt, the film has some post-production work remaining, after which it would pretty much be ready to hit cinemas sometime early next year.
