Last week, we presented you the list of Sexiest Asian Women for the year 2018, compiled and published by the UK based weekly, Eastern Eye. Today, the newspaper released the list of Sexiest Asian Men for the year 2018 and the Korean pop band, BTS, is ruling it. Claiming the first spot, all the members of the band were declared as Asia’s sexiest men in 2018.
Speaking of Pakistanis, Ali Zafar bags the top spot on the list amongst his fellow countrymen in there, jumping from his 12th rank last year to the 8th spot in the current list.
Taking to social media, Ali Zafar expressed his gratitude to the editor and his fans with this message, “Thank you Asjad Nazir and all the fans who voted. I’ve never considered myself worthy of this but gratitude for your love regardless.”
While Zafar shifted from 12th to 8th spot this year, it was the Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan, who took his last year’s spot. Khan was dropped down to the 12th place from his standing of 6th last year. A primary reason for this could be the stark difference in the body of work by both the actors. Ali Zafar’s most awaited movie “Teefa in Trouble,” hit cinemas this year and garnered him a lot of accolades from the audience.
The Sexy Prime Minister
An interesting mention on the list was that of the cricketer turned politician, Imran Khan, who bagged the 48th spot. The current prime minister of the country with his great philanthropic work and a long political struggle, along with a face and body that; even at this age, is good enough for many to swoon over, had to be in there. Being the only person not belonging from the fraternity, this mention deserves a special applause.
Other Pakistani names on the list included Zayn Malik (4), Imran Abbas (23), Riz Ahmed (33), Daniyal Zafar (40), Hamza Ali Abbasi (43), Atif Aslam (46), and Fahad Mustafa (50).
