Now, this is interesting!

Sources have revealed to us that there is a new action comedy in the works titled, ‘Patakh Dey.’ What has us most excited, however, is the ensemble cast the makers have put together for this exciting venture.

Produced by MD Productions, the main cast supposedly includes Ahsan Khan, Kubra Khan, Hania Aamir, Azaan Sami Khan, and Shamoon Abbasi alongside veteran actors like Javed Sheikh, Bushra Ansari, and Shafqat Cheema in supporting roles. While no official confirmation has been made by the makers yet, this is most likely the main cast of the film.

Comedy With a Punjabi Flavour

The film will be directed by Saifee Hassan who last directed Belapur Ki Dayan on HUM TV and from what we have learned, the film is a comedy with a Punjabi flavour to it. Moreover, given it’s a Momina Duraid film for HUM Films, we are already expecting some lush sets with beautifully choreographed songs!

Interestingly, Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Shamoon Abbasi were all last seen together in MD Production’s Parwaaz Hai Junoon (PHJ). Furthermore, it was Azaan Sami Khan who did the music of PHJ, and therefore, this film seems like a Parwaaz Hai Junoon reunion of sorts with the addition of Ahsan Khan in the cast.

The Real Surprise

However, the real X-factor of the film is Azaan Sami Khan who is making his debut as an actor with this one. Azaan is the son of singer Adnan Sami Khan and actor Zeba Bakhtiar, and in the past, he has produced a film (O21) and has also been creating music for movies like Parey Hut Love and PHJ. This time, however, after his dramatic weight loss, he will be appearing in the front of the camera and boy we cannot wait to see him in action.
