Nabeel Qureshi’s social drama ‘Load Wedding’ has been a critics favorite ever since it first released last year on Eid-ul-Azha. Now while the film wasn’t able to score huge numbers at the box office, it was appreciated for its content and was definitely expected to win big time at award ceremonies, which is exactly what seems to be happening.
A few weeks back it was reported that ‘Load Wedding’ was in the running for Best Feature Film (International) at the prestigious Rajasthan International Film Festival 2019 and now we reveal to you that the Fahad Mustafa-Mehwish Hayat starrer has won the award.

Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) is the biggest academic and glamour film festival in Rajasthan. The five-day extravaganza showcases a diverse, language independent, selection of the best feature films, documentaries, and short films from around the world, on themes of Hindi and English and other Rajasthani cultures and identities.
Nabeel Shares His Excitement
Talking to Galaxy Lollywood Nabeel Qureshi shared his excitement on the film winning its very first award “I’m very excited, it is just the beginning of the year and the film has already won an award and that too at such a prestigious festival. I am happy the film is getting what it deserved. I hope we win more” said the director.
