Sarah Khan hit the headlines earlier this year when news of her break-up with ex-beau, Agha Ali broke the internet. The duo had become one of the most loved and sought after pairs in the world of showbiz thus the news of them parting ways shocked everyone. After much speculation on Sarah’s personal life, the pretty and talented lass has finally announced that she is getting hitched!
The big announcement
Sarah has now given a confirmation about her taking the plunge in an online interview with Urdu News. She is known to be a private person who keeps her personal life well-guarded – however, since she has now come out and announced her wedding plans on record, it seems her big day isn’t too far!
“Now I have decided for an arranged marriage and will surprise my fans soon,” she revealed, stunning her fans if reactions on social media are anything to go by.
Last year, the stunning actress was featured on Rewind with Samina Peerzada at the time when the news of her marriage with Agha Ali was all over the media. She stated on that show that she wouldn’t want to talk about her relationship with Agha unless their relationship formalizes into something legal. With the latest revelation about her matrimonial plans, it seems things have finally fallen in place for Sarah.
The break up with Agha Ali was not pretty
In the same interview, Sarah also spoke about her heartbreak and maintained that she has completely parted ways with the Band Khirkiyan actor.
Ali, she said, “crossed all limits and caused her a great amount of distress and heartache” and that she “can’t stoop to his level” — which is why she broke up. The pair last worked together in television serials Mere Bewafa and Band Khirkhiyan.
Work front
On the work front, Sarah is currently being seen in the popular Hum TV show Deewar-e-Shab. She is also playing a grey character in her next untitled drama for Hum TV for which she is super excited!
Sarah was also nominated in the Best Actress (Popular) category at Hum Awards for her superlative performance in last year’s Belapur ki Dayan.
Latest to join the wedding bandwagon
