Following the theft and leakage of her private cell-phone content, Rabi Pirzada was the top twitter trend almost all through yesterday. Many angles to the story were discussed, including some potential conspiracy theories. However, notable journalists and other Twitteratis were mostly outraged and expressed their support for the scandal-ridden starlet.
Now, Rabi has spoken about the incident for the first time in public. She tweeted a hadith earlier today:
#SaveaSoul
''جوبندہ دنیا میں کسی بندے کی پردہ پوشی کریگا اللہ عزوجل قیامت کے دن اس کی پردہ پوشی فرمائے گا۔''#RabiPeerzada— Rabi Pirzada (@Rabipirzada) November 2, 2019
Translated, this read as “Whoever lifts the veil off another person, on the day of judgement God will do the same unto him.”
This looks to be a very direct reference to Rabi’s data theft incident and it seems the Shor Sharaba starlet is quite outraged.
Others, including some journalists, tweeted their support for Rabi and strongly urged social media users to not share her leaked material further. Showbiz journo Mahwish Ajaz expressed her full support for Rabi with the following tweet:
I am so sorry you have to go through this. Stay strong. It will be okay.

Social activist and filmmaker Jamshaid Mehmood aka Jami also pitched in:
Generally speaking Desi men have failed humanity. Top intellectuals activists type who believe in silence at critical times to men who r perverted sick sharing private leaked videos of a woman. Cant Trust us at all. Wars rape lies deceit busss bhai busss. ??

Journalist Omar Quraishi emphasized his personal choice to not share the clips any further:
I did not share any video or pic of Rabi Pirzada – or the video of Shaheen Shah Afridi – of course like many others here, I was sent these clips by friends on WhatsApp – but I made a deliberate choice to not share them on Twitter – or on LinkedIn (where also I have followers)

Meanwhile NYT journo Bina Shah equated sharing her leaked footage to raping her.
Every time you share Rabi Pirzada's photographs or videos, it's like you're raping her.
Think about that.

Coming to the legal side of the affair, it is unclear whether the starlet has taken any legal action to bring the perpetrators to justice. Keep watching this space for the latest on this developing story.
