Background
The Akhri Station starlet has amassed quite a fan-following on Instagram due to her posts’ witty captions and social activism. She was also in the limelight not too long ago for rejecting her Lux Style Awards nomination and leading the boycott towards those awards, as according to her, she did not want to share her nomination and potential win with an alleged harasser.
Recently, Eman shaved her head and spoke about how going bald had affected her work opportunities. So, understandably, risqué and headline-grabbing moves are not all that uncommon for the model.
The wedding announcement
Speaking of bold moves, the actress just announced her upcoming nuptials in an Instagram post that is extremely à la mode.
She shared a selfie with jiu-jitsu and heavyweight champion Syed Jamil Haider and started by saying that she hadn’t planned on releasing the news until after the wedding but was coveting all the attention now that the cat was out of the bag.
She sarcastically continued that she was “marrying her non-platonic friend of 3 months.” She further divulged that her reason for marrying was not to procreate or for love etc. but rather, taking another cue from Hamza’s book, for the sole purpose of making haram halal and pleasing God and her parents.
The post took on a comic note as she said that shaadi was the only option since their parents wouldn’t let the two move in together. Taking it further, she admitted that she’d hoped for a better wedding announcement than a “plagiarized essay.”
In a now-edited version, Eman has removed the part of her post that said: “scribble, scribble, scrawl, scrawl, etc, etc, how did Hamza Ali Abbasi do this?”
True to her personality, she ended the post by saying that she is marrying Jamil until death — or divorce — parts them.

True to her word, the marital announcement does seem like a plagiarized essay and diss track mixed in one!
