All the troubles and travails of the current year aside, 2019 saw quite a few interesting Pakistani films, including some of the biggest blockbusters that were released over the two Eids. Now, some of these films, along with select audience favorites from recent years, are all set to storm your TV screen!
We must add here that we understand that the enthusiasm towards Eid will be very different this year. With the Covid-19 crisis still looming all over and the recent incident involving all the unfortunate people who lost their lives in the plane crash in Karachi, it would be hard for people to focus on something else.
However, life has thrown quite a bit of misery our way therefore some distraction, even if it’s for an hour or two, is absolutely a must for us to stay sane. It’s a coping mechanism we employ to keep our mental balance intact.
Pakistani TV channels have quite a massive line up of movies that will premiere during the four days of Eid-ul-Fitr which will ensure that your mind is pulled out of the news cycle, if even for a few hours. Take your pick – all the genres, from comedy to thriller to crime-caper are on the menu.
