After showing great chemistry in the music video of the song ‘Piyaar Sufiyana’, Farhan Saeed and Hania Aamir are set to act together for the first time in an upcoming drama by ARY Digital and Humayun Saeed’s production house, Six Sigma Plus. The working title of the show is ‘Jhooti’.
Creators
It is written by Saira Raza and helmed by ‘Neeli Zinda Hai’s’ director Qasim Ali Mureed. The latter has previously worked with Farhan Saeed in Prem Gali and the much-anticipated film ‘Tich Button’.
The director revealed to Galaxy Lollywood that the drama isn’t just another run-of-the-mill story; it has a contemporary angle. He added that the premise of ‘Jhooti’ is relatable yet different from what is already shown on television and it will be a “roller coaster of emotions”.
Cast
Farhan Saeed was last seen in ‘Prem Gali’ and Hania Aamir was part of a telefilm ‘Dil Ke Chor’ this year and drama ‘Dil Ruba’ in 2020. The pair will also be working together in Wajahat Rauf’s directorial web series ‘Ruswayi’. The project has been shot but no release date has been announced yet.
‘Jhooti’ will also feature Zoya Nasir, Osama Tahir, Hira Khan, Angeline Malik, Samina Ahmad, Waseem Abbas and Saba Hamid.
