Farewell to Eid: Who Wore What This Meethi Eid?

Eid look of celebs

Eid is a festival of joy and colours so it is no surprise that people use it as an opportunity to step up their style game. Pakistan’s A-listers too left no chance on this meethi EId to impress their fans. Here is Galaxy Lollywood’s take on who wore what this Eid.

Mahira Khan

White is surely the colour of stunning Mahira Khan who shone this EId in Sadaf Fawad Khan in her signature style. Mahira doned on a white silk gharara paired with a short shirt and dupatta with delicate embroidery in pastel tones.

The white dress, however, was a far cry away from the staple style statement that Mahira has had us all accustomed to. The star greeted her followers on Instagram in a caption: ‘Eid Mubarak to all my lovelies. May this be a blessed one for all of us — Thank you my pretty Eid ka jora @sfkbridal. She also wrote a cute birthday wish to her brother Hassan.

Saba Qamar

The trendy Saba Qamar — like Mahira Khan — radiated elegance as she adorned Umsha by Uzma Babar’s white and golden gharara paired with an embroidered shirt and beautiful lace-work dupatta. The Kamli star greeted her followers and asked for ‘Eidi’.

Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane

The meethi Eid was made sweeter for fans of Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane as the Meri Shehzadi star shared an Instagram post with husband Farhan after a long time.

Dressed in a beautiful blush pink peshwas with heavily embroidered bodice and kalis, zari and ivory threadwork with sequins ending in an elaborate border, Urwa looked ethereal. She paired her outfit with an embroidered chiffon dupatta and trouser.

To finish off the look, Urwa styled her lovely locks with gajras. Urwa sent Eid greetings to her followers by wishing everyone ‘Eid Mubarak’.

She adorned a sky blue embroidered, lace worked outfit from Pehrwas on the second day of Eid and looked like a true goddess!!

Farhan — in a separate post — apologised to his fans for a late Eid post. It seems like he went through the same struggle that many of us face: picking out the perfect clicks! The actor-cum-singer wrote, “Delay is a must, the people who know me know how much a struggle it is for me”.

The Tich Button star opted for a bright white geometric print Kurta from Imran Rajput, the black and purplish shades made his classic look a little cooler. However, it is clear from the comments flooding his post that his fans have already forgiven him.

Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir’s Eid dress, designed by none other than Faiza Saqlain, was perhaps the winner this Eid. The graceful Hania Aamir looked ethereal in the Lilac composition and flaunted her style through the perfect Eastern wear.

Ushna Shah

Love is truely in the air as we saw the newlyweds Ushna and Hamza twining in Zainab Chotani’s Eid jora. The couple greeted the fans all the way from Austria.

The Habs star, looked drop dead gorgeous in a traditional white embroidered Kurta paired with a sea green trouser and heavily embroidered dupatta, while Hamza standing next to her in a classic off-white Kurta-Pajama made the picture perfect. We wish them great happiness!!

Wahaj Ali

Riding on the success of Tere Bin and upcoming gigs, Wahaj Ali greeted fans through a post with his daughter. Murtasim’s simple, embroidered kurta was the talk of town as the star posed for a picture with his daughter.

Wahaj may have taken a leaf out of Murtasim’s book, as the elegant, yet simple style, is synonymous to the Tere Bin hero.

Yumna Zaidi

Wahaj Ali’s co-star in Tere Bin, Yumna Zaidi flaunted an elegant rose gold dress from Kanwal Malik. The beautiful embroidery and zari work stand out among our selections and were a true indication of a Queen.

Sehar Khan

Finally, giving us all a royal treat (pun intended), Sehar Khan really slayed in a traditional look, the Fairy Tale star opted for a military green kalidaar peshwas, crafted with zari and threadwork from Asim Jofa’s latest collection. She paired her outfit with classic jhumkay making her look stunning. Sehar took to her Instagram and wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ to everyone.
