Buckle up as the date for the much-awaited launch of the channel Green Entertainment has been announced and the transmission will begin from July 10.
Green Entertainment is all set to revolutionize the Pakistani entertainment industry by producing engaging and captivating content for the audience, encompassing different genres and subjects that range from family dramas, romance, and comedy to social commentary.
Unveiling the channel:
Launched in 2023, the channel’s initial outreach was marked by an OST titled “Kyunke main Green hoon (Because I am Green” which featured many renowned musicians including Abida Parveen, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali and others.
After starting with a bang, the makers started to launch the promos of its upcoming dramas that stars leading names of our entertainment industry and different OSTs which received positive feedback from the audience.

Green Entertainment is not only giving more artistic liberty but is also traversing unexplored topics and a wide range of themes. The channel makers have been aptly able to strike the perfect balance between providing innovative content alongside delving into societal issues that are prevalent in society.

Double the slot, double the entertainment
Green Entertainment is devoted in leading the way to change the entertainment landscape in Pakistan by offering its viewers a chance to unwind on weekends by taking the initiative to have two-hour slots on Saturday and Sunday. This means that on the weekends one drama will run for two hours.
This is common in others part of the world and this trend has also been followed by K-dramas and Turkish dramas. Both have garnered massive popularity with the Pakistani audience- which have a more-than-hour-long episode, hooking the viewers till the last second.
In addition, Green Entertainment has also paid emphasis on the 9 pm slot rather than just airing the most popular dramas at 8 pm. This provides the viewers with more options to choose from.
