Khaie
The teasers of Geo TV’s upcoming drama ‘Khaie’ have been making waves on social media and for all the right reasons. The teasers are grand, and intense and have a cinematic feel attached to them. The project has an ensemble cast including Faysal Quraishi, Durefishan, and Hina Khawaja Bayat. ‘Khaie’ is written by Saqlain Abbas and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain.
Akhaara
Feroze Khan and Sonya Hussyn’s ‘Akhaara’ is one drama people have been anticipating since the mid of this year. The teaser and poster of the project seem to have a heroic feel with a classic romantic tale. ‘Akhaara’ is written by Shahid Dogar and directed by Anjum Shahzad. It is soon to be released on Green Entertainment.
Pagal Khana
Another Saba Qamar and Green Entertainment collab, ‘Pagal Khana’ is going to be released at the beginning of 2024. Written and directed by Iqbal Hussain of ‘Zebaish’ and ‘Nazr e Baad’, the project stars Saba, who plays a girl who is on her spiritual journey to find the essence of true love. The cast includes Sami Khan, Momal Sheikh, Omair Rana, Syed Jibran, Adnan Shah Tipu, Jan Rambo, and Mashal Khan among others.
Jafaa
Hum TV’s upcoming drama ‘Jafaa’ is already creating a lot of buzz on social media due to its cast and makers. The project is a Danish Nawaz directorial penned by Samira Fazal. Jafaa stars Mawra Hocane, Usman Mukhtar, Mohib Mirza and Sehar Khan in pivotal roles. The cast has been posting behind-the-scenes of the ongoing shoot, which is making us more eager about this one.
Sun Mere Dil
Marking a comeback of the ‘Jo Bichar Gaye’ pair Wahaj Ali and Maya Ali on Geo Entertainment, ‘Sun Mere Dil’ is a Khalil ur Rehman Qamar drama helmed by ace director Haseeb Hassan under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. The cast also includes Usama Khan and Hira Mani among others. This marks the return of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar to Geo Entertainment after the controversy some years back. Also, viewers are excited to see real-life best friends Wahaj and Maya’s chemistry on-screen again.
Gentleman
Another project penned down by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, Gentleman stars Yumna Zaidi, Humayun Saeed, Sohai Ali Abro, and Ahmed Ali Butt in pivotal roles. The Green Entertainment drama is directed by Haissam Hussain who is known for numerous superhit dramas including ‘Dastaan’ and ‘Akbari Asghari’. It would be exciting to see so much talent in one show with this stellar cast.
Tere Bin 2
With a question of whether the chemistry of Murtasim and Meerab will win in 2024 too? ‘Tere Bin’’s much-anticipated sequel is in the pipeline and set to hit our TV screens in 2024. Not much has been revealed yet, however, there are chances of some changes in the cast and storyline in the new season. There’s also a lot of buzz about who would play the negative role in the show.
Noor Jahan
Starring Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman, Zoya Nasir, and Noor Hassan, ‘Noor Jahan‘ is produced by Six Sigma Plus Productions for ARY Digital. The project is written by Zanjabeel Asim and directed by Musaddiq Malek of ‘Habs’. The drama is currently in the shooting process.
Teri Meri Kahaani
‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ has everyone excited for the comeback of the popular host, former TV actor, and film star Fahad Mustafa in dramas. Fahad Mustafa is paired with Hania Aamir in the Farhat Ishtiaq play, produced by Big Bang Entertainment. We eagerly await to see this new pair on-screen, along with Farhat Ishtiaq’s masterpiece writing.
