Gidh will be a musically driven movie, says Shamoon

Gidh has become one of the highly awaited movies since the release of its first teaser trailer featuring Shaan and Shamoon. Watch the trailer here.

The good thing about the movie is that it’s not about clichéd themes of counter-terrorism or politics but it’s a story about show-business and it is a musical venture comprised of 6 songs as revealed by Shamoon Abbasi, who is also the producer and director of the film, in an interview to DAWN.com.

Gidh is a romantic thriller and its plot is not based on the premise of terrorism, history or politics. It’s a movie about show-business and the media. What makes Gidh unique is that it has six songs and will be a musically driven movie, unlike the movies we have been seeing in the recent past; they lacked the musical drive which I feel is very essential for our viewers,” says Abbasi in the interview.
