Months after Kim Kardashian broke the internet with her magazine stint, we finally have something desi that has broken the internet. Yes, this theatrical trailer of the film “Wrong Number” which was released two days back, has been the talk of the town and has surely dialed the right number . Maybe its due to Sohai Ali Abroo’s latka jathkas, Danish Taimoor’s shirtless avatar or the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair, but something has surely clicked with the audiences as can bee seen from the views and shares this trailer has been receiving on social media. One look at the frenzy this trailer has created online and you would realize that it would not be wrong to say that this “Wrong Number” has surely broken the internet.
We posted the trailer on our own Galaxy Lollywood facebook page on Wednesday 3 June at about 9pm and just a few hours later at about 12am we could see that this trailer was going to set a new milestone and boy were we right. It hasn’t been even two days and the reach and views this trailer has received on our page is nothing like we have ever seen. It has exceeded all the expectations we had and has surely created history on our page. However to further check the buzz of the trailer we went and checked the official facebook page of ARY Films ,where the trailer was originally shared, and well our theory was further strengthened when we saw similar results over there too . The trailer, in less then 48 hours, has already been viewed by 103,000+ people whereas the last prominent video shared by ARY Films i.e “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani teaser” which was shared about two months back has 172,000 views. We say give it a few more hours and this “Wrong Number” will surely correct the stats here too. Moreover while the JPNA teaser has 1671 shares in two months the Wrong Number trailer has 1700+ shares already.
We dont know what magic ARY Films is working but looks like it is churning out one hot property after another. It seems very certain that ARY Films has another box-office winner up its hands and that Yasir Nawaz’s directorial debut will surely be a successful one.
Moreover after the thunderous response to the trailer the “Wrong Number” team is all set to release the first song from the film i.e “Selfiyaan” featuring Sohai Ali Abroo and this is sure to add more to the anticipation buzz for the film .Lets wait and see what magic spell this song casts on the viewers. You stay tuned to Galaxy Lollywod for all the latest updates.
Plz don’t mind and correct me if I am wrong
The official trailer of Bin Roye is on Dailymotion and it has 281898 views till now and the video on its official fb page has 292,835 Views and 6,459 shares
Yes you are right. Thank you for the information 🙂
This movie looks really interesting. And the wardrobe is just perfect!
We will take your opinion on that as you know fashion way better than us 🙂
you forgot ‘Karachiselahore’ movie which I have seen highly positive huge view 5000 likes..no negative comments’..Many people dislike ‘wrong number’ that is too much view about this..correct me if I am wrong.
We are just talking about the views and buzz here.
Correct me if I am wrong, but a lot of “comedy” in the trailer, the language used, the culture depicted is tasteless and rather alien to Pakistan. The setting of the movie seems like a Mumbai slum but its actually Karachi! (gasp)! Same applies to Karachi se Lahore. They faced substantial thrashing on releasing their trailer that features Mumbai-language, bar dancing and an item number besides some below the belt ethnic commentary, but the makers deleted those comments. You need to highlight the crassness of these movies on your website. The way forward is Ho Mann Jahaan, 3 Bahadur, Dekh Magar Pyar Se, Maah e Meer, even Bin Roye….films like this one and some others are indeed a “wrong number” for the nascent movie industry.
Well everyone has their own opinion about the trailer. While you found it trashy there are others who cannot stop raving about the fun element in the trailer. So all I will say is to each his own.
Hi Momin!
