Guess What? “Dekh Magar Pyar Say” completes its shooting in a record 45 days.

Looks like Asad ul Haq is a man of his word. Just a few months back in April he announced that he would soon start the shooting of his directorial debut “Dekh Magar Pyar Say” and release it in August. And guess what? The man has actually done it! Yes he has completed the shooting of his film in just 45 days which is surely a feat worth celebrating.

You know when he first announced these in plans in April, the industry insiders thought of him as “too ambitious” and “a bit idealistic” and could not help but laugh it off as something that would not materialize.  And honestly would you blame the trade people? We live in a country where films have taken years to make and even the ones that are relatively better timed have almost always been delayed by months at least. So for Asad to start the film in April and end it in June with a total 45  days is nothing but an achievement.

Here it is also worth mentioning that not only the shooting but the film is also setting a record by being extremely efficient with the post-production department as the film is going to release in cinemas on August 14 which does not give much time to the post production people. All in all the film came into news in the beginning of April and is releasing in August so the entire film from scratch to in cinemas has taken less than 5 months!

Here we would like to mention that although this a super fast rate we are talking about but the International market has records which will make you wonder what magical drug were the people behind the film on. Roger Corman’s “The Little Shop of Horrors” which is a 1960 comedy horror film was shot in just two days. A Tamil film “Suyamvaram” was shot in just 24 hours and that too with a start studded cast featuring the likes of Prabhudeva among others. Sadly here in Pakistan we dont have much records but hey, Dekh Magar Pyar Say could be the start!

The film which  was shot in merely 45 days is now complete and all set for release. The first teaser trailer will be launched on July 2 while the film will hit cinemas on August 14. We are super excited about this romantic comedy which stars Sikandar Rizvi and Humaima Malick are you? Let us know in the comments section.
