The only hindrance between the release of Love Mein Gum, Bol, and Son Of Pakistan is the Cricket World Cup; which is ending on 2nd April 2011 with its final to be played in Indian city Mumbai.
Son of Pakistan might be the first of three to be released, followed by Bol and then Love Mein Gum. All three of them are fully completed and directors are just waiting for the cricket world-cup to come to an end.
Some confusions are still there regarding the release of Son Of Pakistan, as its Facebook offcial page claims that movie is hitting the cinemas on 25th March after its premier show on 23rd of the same month, while on the other hand some reports claim that instead of 25th March, director Jarrar Rizvi has decided to release it on 2nd April this year.
On the other hand Shoaib Mansoor and Reema Khan have speeded up their efforts to complete all the pre-release issues regarding the film, and have selected the month of April for the countrywide release of their respective films.
Similarly Syed Noor is also planning to release his Price of Honour in the same month, while his other films such as Aik Aur Ghazi and Jugni are also on their way to be completed and finally hit the cinemas.
The surprising thing of all is the sudden back-out of Bhai Log; which was supposed to be released first on Eid-Ul-Fitr and then Eid-Ul-Adha last year, but was delayed till the start of year 2011, and now suddenly it was announced by the director Syed Fasial Bukhari that he will release the film on Eid-Ul-Fitr this year.
Though some of the industry gurus think that all these big films should not be released on a same period and should have some gaps between their release dates, while on the other hand some feels that the competition between them is necessary and will play a positive role in industry’s re-standing.
