It seems like the infamous actress of Pakistan “Meera” is loved by the controversies a lot, or maybe she is the one who love to go after controversies in order to be in the news all the time.
This time Meera again dragged herself into another controversy which in some way or other is quite funny as well, the controversy she created for herself this time was related to someone who not only introduced Meera in Indian film industry but brought many other Pakistani artists into limelight. Yes! we are talking about none other than Mahesh Bhatt.
Meera earlier in a press statement accused Bhatt for slapping and abusing her on an issue which Meera explains somewhat in this way, “Bhatt wanted me to stick to only his banner and was quite jealous of my growing popularity in India, he slapped and shouted at me when I asked him for his opinion related to me working with renowned Indian director Shubhash Ghai, who invited me in a hotel to discuss the work with me.”
Whereas when Mr. Bhatt was asked about this matter in an interview, he said, I don’t have any blood relation with Meera, which means I don’t have any right to stop Meera working with anyone else, and neither I did, She is in India and I just informed her about the consequences of whatever she was going to do, I told her that I am in this industry for a long period of time and I know people here very well, people don’t get work by knocking the doors of directors, which Meera did, people can even misuse her, she should understand the fact.”
The funny part in this controversy came when Meera after giving official statements against Bhatt on media appeared on TV screens once again and blamed media, specially the Pakistani one for exaggerating the issue, and stated the whole controversy a simple joke, she said, “I didn’t talk to anyone, I was joking with Bhatt sahab and everything is fine I have learned a lot from him he is my teacher, my guru and I respect him more than anything else. He has played and still playing a very important role in my life and my career, and he was the one who brought me to this industry.”
And more on that, after creating all this controversy she landed at the office of Mukesh Bhatt(brother of Mahesh Bhatt) and requested him to get some work for her in India and ask Mahesh Bhatt to forget whatever happened.
Bhatt after watching all this drama became furious and spitted his anger out in an interview and said, She has an absolutely selective memory about things she says. She fantasises a wrong and believes it’s true. Tell me can a person who is beaten by someone come to their office like this? Now she wants to do a press conference saying I did not beat her up, and says she did it for publicity. I don’t understand this. She’s absolutely dangerous and I possibly cannot give her work. She’s deranged.”
Talking to Meera in a live interaction on TV, Bhatt said, I request you to meet a good doctor, you need a bit treatment on your body’s upper box, If you can’t go I will take you to the one. He later also disclosed that she’s even offered him a Pakistani show titled “Kaun Banega Meera Pati”.
Well! after all this drama at least one thing is clear that Meera is desperately looking for some work in India and has been failed so far, and now whatever she said in media about her project with Yash Chopra few days back will also be seen with suspicious eyes.
