Amina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza have been arguably the most influential power couple of the Pakistani entertainment fraternity. The two not only looked sensational together in plays such as Mora Piya and Hum Tum, but they also actively supported each other’s acting endeavors in film and television and saw their respective careers go from strength to strength following their marriage.

However, we have some rather somber news to break. Mohib Mirza appearing on Ahsan Khan’s show on a satellite channel confirmed the ongoing rumors that the two have indeed parted ways. Ahsan quite directly asked Mohib if he was with Amina or not, to which the Bachaana star replied: “No, we are not together.”

Careers and family life blossomed together

The two enjoyed almost fifteen years of matrimonial bliss together, having tied the knot in 2005 and were blessed with a baby girl Meissa in August 2015. Throughout their relationship, Amina was quite active over social media and on various media platforms actively voicing her support for Mohib’s film projects such as Bachaana and Arth: The Destination. Meanwhile, Mohib too fully backed Amina in her many television projects and when she appeared in films such as O21. The two also starred in an independent film Lamhay: Seedlings together, in 2013.

Their relationship saw Amina Sheikh emerge as television’s leading female actress whereas Mohib too decided to venture full-steam into filmdom. Their separation will come as an unpleasant surprise to the couples’ many fans.
