Lux Style Awards 2013: Who won, who performed and much more…

The 12th edition of the Lux Style Awards took place today in Lahore and the ceremony just saw a successful end moments ago. Firstly let me add that this if the first time in the 12 year history of the LSA’s that it is taking place in Lahore. Why did the event take place in Lahore ? I have no idea, but am I happy that it took place in Lahore? Yes I am because Lahore’s my city!

Moving on let me add that had I been selected by the LSA people to host a segment of the awards via this competition they had on facebook I would give you the inside scoop and all but sadly I didnt make the cut because I was just too talented ( joking!). Dont worry I have been following celebrity tweets regarding the LSA’s and have been googling the entire event for you my readers.Its almost as if I was there, God bless the social media. On that note may God NOT bless you LSA people. Damn you for not selecting me, may you rot in hell and aghhh!!!. Okay I think this is not the right place to vent my anger so lets get to the awards.

Basically we, the Galaxy Lollywood team, post things related to Pakistani cinema and with respect to the LSA’s we report the film nominations .Sadly this year the LSA’s have no film nominations as the jury found no film worthy of a nomination. Sad but true :/ However we are sure that this will not be the case for the 13th Lux Style Awards 2014 because of the many films releasing this year. But film nomination or no film nomination we can surely dissect the awards, talk about the winners, the performances and pass a comment or two on what some celebs wore 😉

No surprise there. Personally I find Adnan Siddiqui and Faisal Qureshi to be way better actors than Fawad. But well acting is not everything , hotness and popularity also matter 😉

Performances.

Well LSA 2013 saw performances by:

Atif Aslam, Aamina Sheikh, Humaima Malick, Meera, Noor, Sana, Sahiba, Mathira. It was not exactly a one by one clean performance rather a khichdi where all these 8 people kept popping up at different times. There was a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan among other classic Lollywood songs.But apparently Meera performed some song called “Aaj Meera Nachay Gee”. Cant wait to see that once the awards are telecasted!

Ahmed Ali Butt who had the audience in fits last year was again the host of the night and from what I hear he surely lived up to the hype.

Lastly lets have a quick look at some red carpet looks.

Meera Meera Meera, where do I start on this hideous outfit of yours. Well whats wrong with this dress of yours? The answer is everything!

Humaima Malick surely knows how to dress to perfection. Loving the entire look head to toe.

There is seriously something wrong with Sana. She can make anything look bad. Last year I clearly remember she wore one of my favorite designer Zaheer Abbas and destroyed the outfit with the makeup. This year though the make up seems to be okay the dress still does not compliment her, and sorry but I find it a bit on the trashy side.

Ali Xeeshan here won the award for the Best Dressed Celeb at the red carpet. now was this a mistake or what I dont know but this is definitely not best dressed according to me!
