When it comes to playback singing or solo acts, Aima Baig is one singer who has beaten the odds and emerged as the most sought after celebrity singer from the newer lot. Be it mainstream film chartbusters or Coke studio fusions, Aima has been on a winning streak, constantly striking gold.

The latest edition of The Munshi Show had the Balma Bahgora songstress on the couch opposite Galaxy Lollywood’s Momin Ali Munshi. As the two chatted about various topics ranging from her personal life, working within the industry, and possible future projects, Aima shared quite a few interesting details and the candidness meter soared an all-time high.

Here are the most interesting revelations that Aima made on the show.

Shahbaz Shigri

Aima was asked whether she is dating the Parey Hut Love actor and she answered somewhat cryptically saying that Shahbaz Shigri is “someone she connects with.” The grapevine has been speculating regarding her and Shahbaz since she has been uploading pictures with him on her Instagram handle quite often lately. Aima maintained that they are “great friends” and they vibe really well together.

Later, Aima also added that Shahbaz is a cute guy and that she wouldn’t mind dating him. In another segment on the show, she also chose Shahbaz as her leading hero (along with Fahad Mustafa) if she ever forays into acting.

Bigg Boss 13

Aima revealed that she was offered Indian reality show Bigg Boss’s latest season via a phone call from the makers. She disclosed that she immediately refused the offer as she didn’t want to be a target on the show. She mentioned that although it would have been fun for the audience to see her locked inside the Bigg Boss House, but for herself, it could have been a risky experience.

Previously, Veena Malik and Ali Saleem a.k.a Begum Nawazish Ali have been featured on the show and both got stuck with their fair share of controversies.

Industry Friendships

The Baazi crooner confessed being great friends with Momina Mustehsan, Hania Amir and Shahbaz Shigri. These are the people with whom she shares a special connection with, and who she also hangouts with quite often – which is evident through social media. Aima termed Hania Amir as her “sister” within the showbiz fraternity and Momina Mustehsan her “brother.”

Female Attention

In the ‘Never Have I Ever’ segment of the show, Aima confessed being hit on by girls and revealed that she likes playing along but also shared that she handles such situation by thanking the girls for their love and admiration towards her – her mantra to getting out of such awkward situations.

Favorite singers

Aima termed Abida Parveen as her all-time favorite singer. From the plethora of current performers, she chose Ali Sethi as the most talented singer in the country. She mentioned that she is also very fond of Ariana Grande and Qurat-ul-Ain Baloch. This made up for quite an interesting mix of choices we must say!

Aima also did impressions of local and international singers such as Ariana Grande, Shakira, Qurait-ul-Ain Baloch, and Momina Mustehsan which she totally nailed!

Who did the best lip sync?

Aima said that she loved the way Mahira Khan and Saba Qamar have performed on her songs. However, she added recently the manner in which she sang Kaaf Kangana’s item song did not gel as well on Neelam Munir, probably because, according to Aima “she has such a pretty face.”

The episode also has Aima playing dumb charades, prank-calling Hania Amir and a segment of confession shots in which she disclosed a lot about her life experiences. To catch this and so much more, watch the latest episode of The Munshi Show only on Galaxy Lollywood’s Youtube channel!
