Eros to release Bol Worldwide while Geo Film in Pakistan

As the day of Bol’s release is coming nearer, more and more heat is building up, more and more facts are coming out and the level of excitement is increasing.

This time its famous Indian film critic Taran Adarsh, who through his twitter account disclosed facts about Pakistani film Bol’s international distribution rights and its possible release date.

According to him Indian based company Eros International have bought the distribution rights of the film in order to release it worldwide including India, possibly on 20th May 2011.

While Eros International will be releasing it worldwide, Geo films is the only company responsible to distribute & release the film in Pakistan, probably in the month of April. And some unofficial news sources have even claimed that Shoaib Mansoor and Geo films have made a final decision to release the film in the country on 22nd April 2011, however according to some other news sources; the film will be released within the first week of April.

If it really releases on 22nd April, then it means Bol will have its international release almost after one month of its local release.

However, even with only one month remaining, the proper marketing has still not been started and the film is still restricted within the boundaries of internet. Fan’s desperation about the movie is amazing which promises film’s great financial success at least in Pakistan. Whereas many of the fans sitting abroad are also very anxiously waiting for the movie to hit cinemas in their respective countries.

Just for the sake of information for those who still don’t know about the movie; the movie is the second directorial film of veteran Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor. Bol stars, Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Iman Ali, Shafqat Cheema and many other known and new faces of Pakistan. The story of the movie is said to be about a house full of daughters and their troubles. Humaima Malick is playing an important role of one of the daughters of the house, most affected by the decisions taken by her elders.

Atif Aslam along with his acting has also sung two of the songs in the movie, while Hadiqa Kiyani will also let you feel her presence in the music department of the film.
