Rahat’s voice to be heard in “Main Nahi Manta” & “Khamosh Raho”

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s melodious voice after making wonders in Bollywood will now be heard in two of Pakistani director Altaf Hussain’s upcoming films; Main Nahi Manta and Khamosh Raho, both the films are in the process to be completed and finally hit the cinemas of the country.

Khamosh Raho and Main Nahi Manta are both written by senior writer Nasir Adeeb and produced by Abdul Ghafoor Butt, whereas the music of these films is directed by M.Arshad, not only this both the films have got actor Shaan Shahid in their male lead roles.

Apart from these two movies, Rahat is also said to be working on the music of British director steven moore’s Pakistani film Tamanna and Shamoon Abbasi’s directorial debut movie Gidh. Tamanna has got actors like Salman Shahid, Faryal Goher and Omair Rana in lead roles, while Gidh stars Humayun Saeed, Mona Lizza, Ayesha Khan, Syed Jibran and many other knwn actors of the country. Both of these movies are proceeding fast towards their completion and will hit the cinemas soon.

This is the first time Rahat’s voice will be heard in any of the Pakistani movies, before this he gave his music to Indo-Pak co-produced film Virsa and infact the music of the film was the only thing that made its mark while the film was failed badly on box office. Apart from Virsa he has also sung the title songs of many of the Pakistani television dramas.

On the other hand Satrangee Parachute and Rockstar are two of Rahat’s main upcoming bollywood projects. Rockstar is directed by famous Indian director Imtiaz Ali while the music of the film will be composed by A. R. Rehman, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with Neeraj Shridhar of Bombay viking will associate with Rehman.
