Brands like ‘Pepsi’ and ‘Lux’ have always been benefited from the stardom and the promotional skills of actress Reema Khan. Her last two affiliations were mostly for social cause, as she was first appointed as the ‘Brand Ambassador’ for “Lahore Zoo” and then lent her services for the promotion of WWF’s Earth our campaign.

Now as Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer hospital’s ‘Breast Cancer’ awareness campaign is on its peak; due to disease’s awareness month (October), how could we expect our showbiz fraternity to be not part of such an activity. And so with many known faces such as Atiqa Odho, Faryal Goher and Sania Saeed joining the campaign, Reema Khan has also stepped in to be part of this social cause as the ‘Brand Ambassador’ of Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

Initiating her activities as the ‘Brand Ambassador’, Reema visited several government and private universities & colleges– where she not only spoke on the disease but also held several meetings with students and staff and shared useful information related to the cancer.

Talking to Daily Express few days back, Reema said, “After being appointed as the brand ambassador for Shaukat Khanum, I visited several places and nowadays I am focusing more on Girls colleges in Lahore where I am having great experience as it’s delightful to see youth of today already so much aware of several critical health and personal issues and striving to bring positive change in society.

Talking about her future plans on this campaign, Reema said. “After visiting these ‘Girls Colleges’, I plan to visit different organisations and will assure the movement goes on in future as well.”

As mentioned earlier actors like Fayal Goher, Sania Saeed and Atiqa Odho were already part of the campaign and now with the inclusion of Reema, we believe it will put more weight to this noble cause.
