Ever since the nominations for the 84th Academy Awards(Oscars) came out all everyone could talk about in Pakistan was “Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy” the fantastic woman who earned Pakistan its first oscar nominee. Although the nomination in itself was a huge honour but everyone was secretly praying for the win.
Well God has answered everyone’s prayers as Pakistan has now officially received its first Oscar for the “short documentary Saving Face” made by “Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy” and “Daniel Junge”.
We at Galaxy Lollywood congratulate Sharmeen for her achievement and would thank her for making us all proud.
