Apparently, this clothing business has taken our celebrities by storm, and one after the other, everyone is now trying his/her luck with their own brand & clothing line in market and so far enjoying their on-screen or on field earned stardom turning their other ventures into super success as well.
Pioneered by ex-Vital Sign’s lead vocalist-turned-Islamic Preacher Junaid Jamshed, the idea, in last couple of years has been widely adopted by many known and already well established celebrities of the country, which obviously has been paying them off really well. After Shahid Afridi, Ayesha Omar & VJ Anoushey, Ijaz Aslam, Ali Haider, Nida Yasir and many others, it’s singer turned one of the ace TV stars of country these days, Fawad Khan, who is entering the field of clothing line from this August with his, soon-to-be in market brand, Silk.
As the name suggests, the brand will mostly deal with ready to wear pure silk clothes for women, and will also display some stitched shirts.
The official launch of the brand will take place at PFDC (Pakistan Fashion Design Council) Mall at Lahore on 3rd of August with Fawad unveiling his clothing line, while the exhibition will last till 5th of the same month.
With a widely acclaimed film like Khuda Kay Liye and TV hits like Dastaan and Humsafar on his resume, we hope big from this new venture of the star too.
