Fresh from the sets: Director Shoaib Khan wraps up shoot for upcoming film ‘Jackpot’

Last week, team Galaxy Lollywood dropped by the sets of upcoming film ‘Jackpot’ in Lahore where the shooting of the last spell was on. We talked to the cast and crew to get some inside scoop on the film, and here is what we found out:

1.The shoot has been wrapped up

Director Shoaib Khan told us that this was the last spell of the film and other than some patchwork the shoot for the film is complete . It’s worth mentioning that an earlier spell was shot in Thailand at some rather picturesque locations.

2. Releasing in early 2018

With the film in post-production now, the makers are in talks with distributors on how to take things forward. The film it seems will release sometime next year but the exact date is yet to be announced. There will be a poster launch event on the eve of New Years where more information will be revealed.

3. The film is an outright entertainer

When we asked the leads of the film Noor Hassan and Sanam Chaudhry what made them sign the dotted line they both reiterated the fact that the film was an outright entertainer and that the audiences will love it. It is a comedy thriller and has a bunch of characters, interlinked to each other, who are all running after this lottery ticket. The entire film is one fun-filled ride which takes the characters places as they try to get their hands on the ticket.

4. The ensemble cast is a winner

The cast of the film is a healthy mix of newbies and veterans where on one hand we have debutants Inayat Khan and Reyhana Malhotra, on the other hand, we have Javed Sheikh, Ismail Tara and Adnan Shah Tipu. Also, how can we forget Lollywood diva Sana who will be seen acting in a film after quite some time.Add to that popular faces of television, Noor Hassan and Sanam Chaudhry to the mix and you have a winner!

5. Music is another plus point

The music of is done by Naveed Nashad and the album has five tracks in total of which two are romantic songs and three will be fun peppy dance numbers. The songs have been sung by Amanat Ali, Beena Khan, Asim Azhar and Ashfan Fawad so we can expect some melodious numbers.

While you wait for more details, you can enjoy the beautiful teasers that came out earlier this year.
