We’ve got some good news, you all!
After a rather disappointing last few weeks for Marvel fans where Captain Marvel could not make its way to Pakistan, and the release of Avengers: Endgame also hanging up in the air, we have got some exciting news.
As per our high placed sources, both these films will be coming to Pakistani cinemas. Avengers: Endgame will be releasing in Pakistan on April 26, 2019, coinciding with its worldwide release date, whereas Captain Marvel which already released worldwide on March 8, 2019, will be coming to Pakistan super soon (ARE YOU EXCITED OR ARE YOU EXCITED?).
Dumbo follows suit
Furthermore, Walt Disney’s Dumbo which also could not make its way to Pakistan will be releasing in about two weeks too, alongside Captain Marvel. Censor for Captain Marvel and Dumbo is going to take place this week and once that is done, the films will be hitting the cinemas as soon as possible.
The reason for this delay in Disney Film’s Pakistan release was due to some monetary issues, where price negotiations proved to be a hindrance. However, now that it has been resolved, these films are coming to Pakistan as will all future Disney movies.
This news is definitely a huge win for cinemas owners who in absence of Bollywood were struggling to keep afloat. The footfalls were extremely low and major downsizing was also in progress where multiple screens were being shut down. But, last week’s release Sherdil did bring some hope, and now with these Hollywood releases, looks like the cinemas are back in business, and the audiences too will get to see the newest releases in theatres, soon.
