Eid is just around the corner and so are films and telefilms. Since telefilms are something one can watch in the comfort of their homes with their entire family, we’ve got you sorted with the list of all the telefilms that are coming out this Eid. You’re welcome:
Help me Durdana
Yasir Hussain starrer comedy telefilm is titled Help Me Durdana where he plays the double role of a boy who due to some circumstances has to impersonate his mother. The cast apart from Yasir includes Ushna Shah, Mehmood Aslam, Zahid Qureshi among others. Directed by Aabis Raza and produced by Fahad Mustafa, Help Me Durdana will air on ARY Digital.

Dil Toh Bacha Hai Jee
Hira Salman and her husband Salman Saqib will be seen together in Dil Toh Bacha Hai Jee. Hira’s character Annie; a fun, chilled out girl, will be paired opposite Salman’s character Badr. While both of them have feelings for each other, the former keeps teasing the latter in this regard.
Apart from the husband-wife duo, veterans Mehmood Aslam, Behroze Sabzwari and Asma Abbas are also part of the star cast. The trio will be depicting roles of Babu, Sultan, and Shabana while their storyline is based on a family in which Shabana flirts with two men simultaneously, the reason for which will be disclosed later. Dil Toh Baccha Hai Jee is produced under Erum Binte Shahid’s Production House, Evolution Media.
Affan Waheed – Yumna Zaidi starrer
Affan plays the character of a happy go lucky guy who is slightly arrogant and full of himself. Yumna, on the other hand, plays his neighbor. Both Affan and Yumna’s characters have been raised by single parents who are hell-bent on getting them married. As the duo teams up to break free of the marriage, we’ll have to wait till Eid to see what happens next.
Besides Affan and Yumna the cast also includes Saman Ansari and Noman Masood, amongst others. Directed and produced by Mohsin Talat, the story has been penned down by Adeel Razzak.
Jhanka Taaki
Nadia Khan’s upcoming telefilm Jhanka Taaki features a stellar cast which includes Hina Dilpazir, Azfar Rehman, Amna Ilyas and herself.
The storyline revolves around the concept of Watta Satta (the simultaneous marriage of a brother-sister pair from two households). Nadia plays a married woman whose mother in law is played by Hina Dilpazir. As per the tradition, Nadia’s brother (Azfar Rehman) is supposed to get married to Hina’s daughter (Amna Ilyas) but Nadia is totally against this marriage because she wants him to get married to a rich family. The comic situations are created within the set parameters, with Nadia and Hina not leaving any opportunity to insult each other.
The project is directed and produced by Kashif Saleem and will air on ARY Digital.
Pinky ka Dulha
Muneeb Butt and Ushna Shah’S telefilm is titled Pinky ka Dulha with an ensemble cast of Gul-e-Rana, Khalid Anam, Sajid Hassan, Saman Ansari, Parveen Akbar, and Hassan Ahmed to name a few.
A comedy of errors and mistaken identity; Pinky Ka Dulha tries to figure out who Pinky’s dulha actually is. Is it Muneeb or Hassan or someone else entirely? Directed and produced by Angeline Malik, Pinky Ka Dulha will air on Hum TV.
Raja Ki Chandni
Mohsin Abbas Haider and Kubra Khan will be seen together in Raja Ki Chandni helmed by Kamran Amber Khan. The telefilm will air on Hum TV. While we haven’t been able to find out much about the plot of the said telefilm and may have to wait for it to air, we have a photo of Kubra from the sets. She is found sitting alongside the director Kamran Amber Khan, in what looks like a school/college uniform.
Get ready for an Eid telefilms extravaganza. We, for one, cannot wait!
