Speaking in detail about the project, Mikaal said: “Faisal Qureishi has assembled the biggest cast in Pakistan ever, and this is a project whose buzz will only be mounting further as the makers release more news about the stellar list of cast and cameos that are set to be a part of it. In the coming few weeks, more announcements with some concrete details about the project will be made in a press conference.”

Among the 20 or so stars set to be part of the project, Mikaal confirmed the presence of Ayesha Omar, Ali Safina, Hina Dilpazeer and Shaniera Akram in addition to him, Fawad Khan and Wasim Akram, in the film’s mega-cast. The project is going to be a big-budget one with Shayan Khan of Zashko Entertainment taking on the role of the producer. Shayan incidentally will also be starring in the film. 

Anticipation mounts

With the confirmation of what is the country’s biggest casting coups, the anticipation level for the film is set to reach feverish levels. Fawad Khan has been one of the most sought after stars in the country, and with Maula Jutt facing mounting delays his fans and the audience have been waiting eagerly for him to grace the silver screen. Mikaal Zulfiqar too has seen his stardom make massive gains with this year’s hit Sherdil and his presence in the film is sure to add tons of pizzazz.
