Team ‘Jalan’ to reunite for ‘Lockdown’

There’s no doubt in the fact that the team of the hit television drama ‘Jalan’ had fantastic chemistry on-screen, and each actor did remarkable justice to their characters. Despite getting banned by PEMRA over the content of the drama serial, Jalan premiered on ARY Digital and was a huge success. This success is now being taken a step forward as team Jalan reunites and is back with another project set to hit the screens soon.

The cast of Jalan is reuniting for an upcoming telefilm based on the lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic. Directed by Aabis Raza and produced by Fahad Mustafa’s ‘Big Bang Entertainment’, the upcoming telefilm, namely “Lockdown” will feature Minal Khan, Emmad Irfani, Mohammad Ahmed (who is not just acting in the said telefilm but has also written it). Also joining the team will be supermodel Sadaf Kanwal.

While speaking to us, Minaal Khan said, “It’s about Covid and lockdown but it is not depressing. It’s a rom-com, romantic but filled with humour, and executed very well.” Minal Khan also revealed that the telefilm is also about social issues prevalent in our country like honour killing.

With this information, we can tell this will definitely be an interesting watch. ‘Lockdown’ has completed its shooting and is all set to be released on ARY Digital very soon.
