Ever since the first teasers of ‘Mere Humnasheen’ went on air, viewers have been buzzing with excitement. The intriguing teasers showcase the traditional values of the people living in the northern areas of Pakistan. The narrative also highlights the obstacles made in the name of honor and vengeance.
Mere Humnasheen is written by Misbah Ali Syed, directed by Ali Faizan and is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment (Abdullah Kadwani & Asad Qureshi). It features an exciting mix of talented actors like Ahsan Khan, Hiba Bukhari, Shehzad Sheikh, Syed Jibran and others.
Storyline
The first two teasers right away introduce the protagonist Hiba Bukhari, a young Pakhtun girl who aspires to be a doctor. Her ambition to serve humanity isn’t very easy as Ahsan Khan (her fiancé) is a rigid Pakhtun who doesn’t want her to be progressive and pursue her studies. He goes to all extents and creates hurdles to stop her, but she, being the daughter of the mountains, is rock solid in her decision.
The Twist
The third teaser introduces us to Dr. Hadi Shehreyar (Shehzad Sheikh) who is highly impressed with Hiba’s personality & intelligence and falls in love with her. Does she have the same feelings for him though? There’s a love triangle in the making. Ahsan is furious to see both of them together. We also come across a dreamy sequence between Hiba and Shehzad. It won’t be a smooth sailing journey for Hiba as she is stuck between family traditions and love. As of now, the teasers successfully work in building the pre-hype making the viewers anxious to watch the drama.
Other Highlights
One of the major highlights of Mere Humnasheen is its fresh on-screen pairing. Ahsan Khan, Hiba Bukhari, and Shehzad Sheikh pair up for the first time and their connection comes across as highly impactful. 7th Sky Entertainment is well known for injecting its heart and soul into their projects. And this one is no different. The cinematography is top class. Each frame captures the scenic beauty of the Northern areas to perfection. The splendid camera work promises a lasting visual experience for the viewers.
Expectations
As of now, Mere Humnasheen give us the right amount of the entertainment quotient. It would be exciting to witness how these characters would connect to the story. The smartly edited teasers do not reveal it all and prepare us for an intriguing watch ahead.
